Ralph Lauren Polo Striped Grosgrain Belt

ORIGINALLY: $75.00
NOW ON SALE FOR: $49.00

A nice belt when the spring and summer months roll back around. I couldn't wear this belt with darker-rinsed jeans, but these would look nice with some khakis, corduroy pants, or even lighter-colored blue jeans. With a belt like this, think more of a sunny afternoon drive into the country or a casual dinner, less of a night on the town.

Diesel Textured Case Watch

ORIGINALLY: $100.00
NOW ON SALE FOR: $59.90

Nordstrom.com is having a great Half-Yearly sale, and this watch, along with the Ferragamo loafers, are part of the bounty. I like this watch because I can see myself wearing it for both casual and dressier occasions. It's also quite a steal, considering that it's now 40 percent off its original price. The watch's black ionic plating sets it apart from other black leather strap watches, and I'm feeling the bigger numerals on the dial.

Ferragamo Gerico Driving Loafer

ORIGINALLY: $460.00
NOW ON SALE FOR: $299.90

Man, if I could, I would... These Salvatore Ferragamos are now on sale at Nordstrom.com. These look like the joints Shia La Beouf had on in Wall Street 2. If any of you have seen the that movie, you know how versatile these shoes are. You can wear them with some straight-leg jeans and a fitted motorcycle jacket or with some black slacks and a sport coat. You really can't go wrong with these, especially if you have the Christmas money to splurge on this super-discounted pair.

Johnston & Murphy Brinley Cap Toe

ORIGINALLY: $185.00
NOW ON SALE FOR: $89.99

I bought a pair of black loafers from a Johnston & Murphy outlet during their Black Friday sale, and the purchase was well worth it. My crew and I tried on an assortment of this brand's dress shoes, and all were extremely comfortable, and many had the style to match. These are some dark brown lace-ups that are a steal, considering how much they originally cost. These are a good pick for anyone trying to get their navy suit game up.

Topman WOR Windwarmer Jacket

Spring is a few months away, but this Topman Windwarmer Jacket will be a winner once the temperature goes up a bit. Small, Medium and XL sizes are still available for this jacket, which was once $200, but is now on sale for $100. Some Air Maxs and jeans would go real well with this look, especially some Air Max 95s or 90s.

GAP Nordic Zip Cardigan

The button-up cardigans are like the new thing nowadays, but this zip-up cardigan from the Gap offers a more dressed-down look. I definitely can't see myself wearing this like the model in the picture, but I could rock it with some jeans and a white thermal underneath, or maybe even an oxford shirt to dress things up a bit. This cardigan was originally $79.50, but now is on sale for $59.99.

American Eagle Puffer Vest

Check out this Puffer Vest available at the clearance section at American Eagle's website. This vest used to sell for $59.50 but is now on sale for $29.95. Many different sizes are still available. It might be too cold to bust this out in some states for the next few months, but come February, this will be a good look with a hoodie underneath, some jeans, and some boots.

Get Money, Get Money

Check the links below out for building up your finances. I know we all save up for the Jordans and the Tom Fords suits and the Mosley Tribes frames, but saving up to purchase assets will allow us to STOP HAVING TO SAVE UP for those things and be in a more comfortable situation to just "buy" them!

Some nice quotables from the articles:

"True wealth is not measured in possessions but in assets..."

"...in aiming to live a more effectively frugal lifestyle you will be able to achieve true wealth rather than just a life full of stuff."
