Ralph Lauren Polo Striped Grosgrain Belt

ORIGINALLY: $75.00
NOW ON SALE FOR: $49.00

A nice belt when the spring and summer months roll back around. I couldn't wear this belt with darker-rinsed jeans, but these would look nice with some khakis, corduroy pants, or even lighter-colored blue jeans. With a belt like this, think more of a sunny afternoon drive into the country or a casual dinner, less of a night on the town.

Diesel Textured Case Watch

ORIGINALLY: $100.00
NOW ON SALE FOR: $59.90

Nordstrom.com is having a great Half-Yearly sale, and this watch, along with the Ferragamo loafers, are part of the bounty. I like this watch because I can see myself wearing it for both casual and dressier occasions. It's also quite a steal, considering that it's now 40 percent off its original price. The watch's black ionic plating sets it apart from other black leather strap watches, and I'm feeling the bigger numerals on the dial.

Ferragamo Gerico Driving Loafer

ORIGINALLY: $460.00
NOW ON SALE FOR: $299.90

Man, if I could, I would... These Salvatore Ferragamos are now on sale at Nordstrom.com. These look like the joints Shia La Beouf had on in Wall Street 2. If any of you have seen the that movie, you know how versatile these shoes are. You can wear them with some straight-leg jeans and a fitted motorcycle jacket or with some black slacks and a sport coat. You really can't go wrong with these, especially if you have the Christmas money to splurge on this super-discounted pair.

Johnston & Murphy Brinley Cap Toe

ORIGINALLY: $185.00
NOW ON SALE FOR: $89.99

I bought a pair of black loafers from a Johnston & Murphy outlet during their Black Friday sale, and the purchase was well worth it. My crew and I tried on an assortment of this brand's dress shoes, and all were extremely comfortable, and many had the style to match. These are some dark brown lace-ups that are a steal, considering how much they originally cost. These are a good pick for anyone trying to get their navy suit game up.

Topman WOR Windwarmer Jacket

Spring is a few months away, but this Topman Windwarmer Jacket will be a winner once the temperature goes up a bit. Small, Medium and XL sizes are still available for this jacket, which was once $200, but is now on sale for $100. Some Air Maxs and jeans would go real well with this look, especially some Air Max 95s or 90s.

GAP Nordic Zip Cardigan

The button-up cardigans are like the new thing nowadays, but this zip-up cardigan from the Gap offers a more dressed-down look. I definitely can't see myself wearing this like the model in the picture, but I could rock it with some jeans and a white thermal underneath, or maybe even an oxford shirt to dress things up a bit. This cardigan was originally $79.50, but now is on sale for $59.99.

American Eagle Puffer Vest

Check out this Puffer Vest available at the clearance section at American Eagle's website. This vest used to sell for $59.50 but is now on sale for $29.95. Many different sizes are still available. It might be too cold to bust this out in some states for the next few months, but come February, this will be a good look with a hoodie underneath, some jeans, and some boots.

Get Money, Get Money

Check the links below out for building up your finances. I know we all save up for the Jordans and the Tom Fords suits and the Mosley Tribes frames, but saving up to purchase assets will allow us to STOP HAVING TO SAVE UP for those things and be in a more comfortable situation to just "buy" them!

Some nice quotables from the articles:

"True wealth is not measured in possessions but in assets..."

"...in aiming to live a more effectively frugal lifestyle you will be able to achieve true wealth rather than just a life full of stuff."

Free GOOD Music: Bambu x DJ Muggs- Los Angeles, Philippines

Bambu comes through with a clutch set of A Tribe Called Quest-meets-Public Enemy anthems. Most of the production is done by Cypress Hill's DJ Muggs, hence the L.A. and Philippines connection. Below is a link to the unmixed version that I downloaded. You can also download a mixed version (mixing done by Muggs) via 2dopeboyz. Not only do I love the fact that Bam reps my motherland, but I also love that he's a legit emcee with classic, golden-era influences on his sound. This, along with Cole's Friday Night Lights, are definitely in my rotation right now.

Shout to my boy Mike P.!!! Winter Hats on deck...

Thanks to inspiration from Social Status co-founder Michael Edwin Powell, we've found a Topman Denim Flat Cap for $8! The cap is on sale from $28. After a lengthy discussion on what winter hats would be the wisest choice for Mike, we found this to be one of the worthiest candidates on the Topman website.

One of the best shoes I've ever purchased...

I got a pair of Royal Blue Vaiders last summer from St. Louis' R-Sole, and to this day it's still one of the best purchases I've ever made, mostly because I've found that Vaiders wear real well with most light-washed jeans. This navy colorway is dressier than the mesh and royal blue colorway I got, but I'm pretty sure this pair is just as comfortable. Originally $96, these are now on sale at Karmaloop for $63.95.

J. Crew Chinos for only $19.99 if you wear a 28 or 32

These chinos were originally going for $59.50. This is a great deal if you wear one of the 2 available sizes left. If you don't want to wear these during the winter, you're at least copping yourself a nice pair of pants to bust out for the spring or summer when chinos are more in-season once again. But why not try pulling these off with some Red Wings or something?

Bishop Daniels' HoopMixtape

This kid is heading to play for Miami next year, apparently... Looks like I'll be paying more attention to the U's hoop program. Daniels also played with John Wall as a sophomore, and you'll see some highlights of the two connecting on some alley-oops. Had to post this; the most well-done highlight tape from HoopMixtape I've seen thus far. They timed all the dunks perfectly with the beat of the background instrumental... this has been on repeat whenever I've visited YouTube as of late...

Palladium Boot Gang!

For those of us that can't afford a full-price pair of Red Wings this winter, I present an alternative. I'm definitely thinking about copping some Palladiums from EastWest Worldwide myself. Although this beige Baggy Leather Boot is $77, discounted from $110, there are many other styles available at cheaper, discounted prices. Some are limited in size availability, however. So, if you need a new pair of boots, but you're also saving up for the Cool Gray Jordan 11s or the Flint Jordan 13s, these are a solid purchase.

ThassNOTagoodlook!!!!: Please do not get caught wearing these...

These are the Society Sneakers by Supra, now at a discounted $95.95 at Karmaloop. The shoes were originally $144, but who in their right mind really would've bought these, period? These shoes look like some teal Skytops that ended up in a sewer, then mixed with the ooze from Ninja Turtles Pt. 2, and here is the result... a mutated, outlandish excuse for a footwear statement. I can't believe other colorways are actually still being sold for this model. But then again, what do I know?

J. Crew Kingston-Checkered, Sherpa-Lined Jacket

J. Crew's online store is now selling this nice checkered coat for $69.99. It was originally $118. I don't think I'd rock it with the collar up the way the model is, but either way, you will look fresh and stay warm because of the sherpa lining. Unfortunately, there are no other colors available, but I think you can get away with gray, white, or black solids underneath this coat.

Check out this D&G watch for spicing up your business wardrobe

The Dolce and Gabbana "Medicine Man" watch is now 40% off at Nordstrom's, with the $164.90 price tag down from the original $275. I love the vibrant colors on the face, which is a subtle detail that can add a unique feel to a business-casual look. Everybody has a traditional stainless-steel watch as an all-purpose timepiece; this is a nice little change-up from the norm.

Topman does it again...

Topman is easily becoming one of my favorite brands, not just because they put out quality pieces for reasonable prices, but also because those pieces are still usually very much in season. Take this navy blazer, for example, which is now only $50, down from $180! Man, some dark brown cords and a white oxford shirt with a scarf would set this jawnt off... Just in time for fall to end, too. If you've got a fancy Thanksgiving dinner where you need to impress some folks this year, I'd highly recommend copping this ASAP.

Winter's Comin'... Get Right.

Caliroots.com has got these Woolrich x Red Wing collab boots at a discounted price of 99 euros, which converts to about $138. Originally, they were 259 euros, or $363. I'm a big fan of the Woolrich panel on the side of the boot, and the silhouette is just classic. Beware, however, as shipping costs another 25 euros. Regardless of the high shipping cost, this is still a great purchase, considering how much the pair cost originally and the overall quality of this collab.

Black Hearts on my Cardigan... and my wallet...

The Alife Rivington Club website's sale section actually has something in stock as of today, and this fresh-to-def wallet from Comme Des Garcons happens to be it. Originally $200, the Bi-Fold Wallet is now $150. Of course, not everyone can drop $150 on a wallet, but if I had the money... This looks like a worthy investment for a night on the town when you just want to carry a few cards and a few bills. This is on some super-refined, grown-up status right here.

Y'all KNOW I had to rep my FLIP roots: Busog Tees on sale

Busog, a a Filipino clothing line, now has a collection of tees on sale on their website. This line has offered some dope Manny Pacquiao tribute shirts, but those are either sold out or still full-price for now. You don't have to be Flip to sport the line, though; check the pic of Spike Lee holding it down below. The line also has released its first hoody, also available on the site.

Below, however, is my personal favorite amongst the t-shirts that are currently on-sale. Busog literally does mean "full" in Tagalog, the dominant language in the Philippines. The shirt is now available for a discounted $18.

ThassNOTagoodlook!!!!: They did OJ dirty on this one

The folks from ACAPULCO GOLD dropped this OJ Simpson-inspired piece a while back, and BOUNDLESS NY still has the shirt available in XXL for $19.99, down from $31.99. Considering someone was actually killed in this case, I find this shirt to be a bit on the side of poor taste and judgment. You might get an immature chuckle from a juvenile or two, but for refined gents this shirt is not. Not to hate on Acapulco Gold, but this isn't their finest hour of brainstorming for a t-shirt.

Click here if you got bad taste and you found some reason to cop this shirt...

For all my mid-90s Suns fans...

Karmaloop has a Charles Barkley-inspired t-shirt by Bonafide Icon available at a discounted price of $28. The original price was $36.99. I love how the bylines are inspired by the actual script from the commercial, along with the "OG" replacing the "GQ" logo in the corner. People front like all Charles is known for is being a TV personality; older heads know that dude was a serious talent. The guy almost made me hop off the Jordan bandwagon for Pete's sake... anyways...

Would You Cop?: CMON X Reebok collab sneakers now on sale

These sneakers were once $125, but Commonwealth is now offering this trio at a discounted $78 for each pair. I personally would go for the purple, but I'm not positive this is a collab that I'm willing to spend $78 on to add to my collection. Would you guys cop? Which colorway?

Which Would You Cop?: The Battle of the Crooks Jackets

Karmaloop has got two nice Crooks varsity jackets on sale, and the question is:
Which is the better look? The Benito is on sale for $71.95, down from $108, while the Demon C, still available in Large, is now $75.95, down from $114. What's the better look when considering both price and look? Let your comments decide.

You can click here to cop the jackets, as well...

If you wear a 13, and you got $332 to spare...

You might as well get on these Marc Jacobs, especially considering that they're originally $605!!!
I mean, everybody deserves a chance to treat themselves every now and then, I guess...$332.75 at 6pm.com.

Good Wood NYC Limited Edition Halloween Piece

So the folks at Good Wood have got a Mike Myers-inspired piece on-sale until this coming Sunday, which is Halloween. If you're up on collecting limited edition pieces from this brand, you might want to get on this ASAP. The pieces run for $45.

Comune Jacket at Karmaloop for $70, down from $106

I don't know what's up with Karmaloop and their models wearing oversized clothes, but regardless this jacket is a nice pickup. I could rock this with a black or grey hoodie underneath, for sure.
Click here if you're trying to cop...

Gap Shawl Cardigan, $49.99, down from $69.50

If you can wear a L or XL and you got $50 to spare, I'd definitely recommend this cardigan.

Crooks and Castles Henley- $44.95, down from $78

Apparently, henleys are making a comeback, according to GQ, at least. So with that said, here's a Crooks and Castles version that's definitely a bit louder than the one's being modeled at GQ. I'd opt for a tighter fit than what Karmaloop's model has on, too. If you're trying to go with a more streetwear-oriented vibe, here's a good choice, considering it's 42% off.

Air Penny 3 Retro for $80

These are a steal... these aren't the OGs, but $80 for this re-release isn't too shabby at all. If you grew up during the Shaq-Penny-Horage Grant era, you know these joints are tempting. Flight Club has them available from sizes 8 to 11.5 for the time being.

If you can rock a men's 8 to 9.5...

I highly recommend you check these out on karmaloop.com. They've gone down from $125 to $71.95, and if you live in a state with harsh winters like me, these are some kicks that can withstand a wear or two in tougher conditions. Definitely a good look if you want to take a break from the Timbos or Red Wings during the upcoming months.
